Becca graduated from the University of Akron school of Law in 1998 and attained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Akron’s Graduate School of Business at the same time. She passed the bar exam on the first try and has no desire to ever sit for another one! Rebecca is licensed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and admitted to practice in both the Pennsylvania courts and the Federal Court in the Western District of the 3rd Circuit.
Becca spent several years practicing at one of the downtown Erie law firms and, while she deeply appreciates the skills and knowledge she gained there, she loves practicing law on her own terms in Waterford. There is something special about living, working, and having your kids attend school all within a few block radius and she knows how lucky she is!
Becca primarily focuses her practice on helping people plan — by guiding people through the process of estate planning (writing a will), Health Care Power of Attorneys and living wills, general powers of attorney and guardianship. She also helps families negotiate the legal mire that arises following the passing of a loved one: sorting out the inheritance tax, the payment of final bills, the transfer of assets to beneficiaries and other probate related matters.
